Mail Pouch Barn -   Mail Pouch tobacco barns have become an iconic subject for Americana fine art.  The West Virginia Mail Pouch Chewing Tobacco Co. (Bloch Brothers Tobacco Co.) based in Wheeling, West Virginia used it as a popular barn advertisement which was painted onto the sides of barns from 1890-1992.  Many of these barns are found in the Midwest, Ohio Valley & Tennessee Valley states.  Nearly 20,000 barns featuring this advertisement were personally painted by Harley Warrick of Belmont County, Ohio throughout his lifetime.

Farmhouse Windmill -   Scenes of rural Americana images have always been popular subjects for art.  The sepia-tone color of this illustration reminded me of the opening scene to ‘The Wizard of Oz’.  This illustration came about after watching a scene of ‘Stormchasers’ on the Discovery Channel while they were chasing tornadoes on the open plains of Texas in ‘Tornado Alley’.

"Goin’ Fishin’ With Pap" - I have been creating some illustrations that are a reflection of the influential people & moments I’ve taken from my life which I’m sure others can relate to. My grandfather, whom I am named after has always played a significant role in my life. He is someone who I have looked up to for as long as I can remember.

Monument Valley Desert Sunset – This was my first attempt featuring western art. Monument Valley is a region in the Colorado Plateau characterized by a cluster of vast sandstone buttes, with the largest reaching 1,000 feet above the desert valley floor. These structures are located near the Four Corners area of northern Arizona and southern Utah. The valley lies within range of the Navajo Nation reservation. This stunning landscape has been featured in several notable western films including Stagecoach, The Searchers & Forrest Gump. Monument Valley is part of the Grand Circle which includes the Grand Canyon, Mesa Verde, Bryce Canyon National Park, Zion Canyon National Park, Capitol Reef, Natural Bridges National Monument & Arches National Park.
