Walt Disney World Cinderella Castle

Lake Buena Vista, FL

The Cinderella Castle is a fairy tale castle at the center of the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World. It serves as a worldwide recognized icon and is the flagship attraction of the theme park. The castle was completed in 1971 and reaches a height of 189 feet. The Cinderella Castle uses an optical illusion known as forced perspective which makes it appear larger than it actually is in person. This very detailed illustration is my crown jewel artistically speaking and has become a fan favorite of princesses throughout the land, including as far away as Hertfordshire, England.

“We purchased this print for our daughter, who loves all things with a princess theme for her bedroom. She and everyone who sees it loves it! Charles was kind enough to throw in a bunch of extra free prints for the children at our local hospitals in Pittsburgh, including Children’s Hospital where we do charity work. We highly recommend the beautiful artwork of this talented and generous artist.”

The White House

Washington, D.C.

The White House is the official residence and principal workplace of the President of the United States. It was designed by architect, James Hoban and built between 1792-1800 of white painted aquia sandstone in the Neoclassical Style. The design for the White House was influenced by the Leinster House in Dublin, Ireland. It has been the residence of every president since John Adams. In 1814, during the War of 1812, the White House was set ablaze by the British Army during the Burning of Washington. It is designated as a National Heritage Site by the National Park Service. I have presented the illustration as a gift to Presidents Bill Clinton, George W. Bush and Barack Obama. Each president has taken the time to personally write a thank you letter which they and the First Ladies each signed. I intend to send the illustration as a gift to each president throughout my lifetime and will have a nice collection of personal letters to pass on.

National World War II Memorial

Washington, D.C.

The National World War II Memorial is dedicated to Americans that served in the armed forces and to civilians on the home front during World War II. The memorial consists of fifty-six pillars in honor of the fifty states and its territories and a pair of small triumphal arches for the Atlantic & Pacific theaters of operation. It is surrounded by a plaza and water fountain. The memorial is located on the National Mall between the Lincoln Memorial (illustrated in the background) and the Washington Monument. The Freedom Wall on the west side of the memorial and illustrated in the center beneath the Reflecting Pool, features 4,048 gold stars, each representing 100 Americans who died in the war. Nearly 16,000,000 million men and women served in the U.S. military during World War II. It opened to the public in 2004 and was dedicated by President George W. Bush.

“I met Charles at the Holy Trinity Greek Festival in Ambridge, Pennsylvania. He approached my father, who is a decorated World War II and Korean War veteran and presented him with a print of his World War II Memorial illustration. We thank him so much for his generosity and the gift of his beautiful artistry. My family and I who were in attendance were all very touched by his graciousness. Charles’ talent is so stunning!”
